These Financial Terms govern every payment, wallet balance, credit, fee, promotion, withdrawal, and money-related feature of the Platform. They are part of the Terms of Service. BY ADDING FUNDS, EARNING, PLAYING, OR WITHDRAWING, THE MEMBER ACCEPTS THESE TERMS IN FULL.
Wallet balances are prepaid Platform credit denominated in US dollars for convenience. They are not legal tender, bear no interest, are not a deposit or e-money account, are not insured by any government body, and confer no claim against Yesodi other than the right to use Platform features under these Terms. Yesodi is not a bank, money transmitter, or payment service for third parties.
All wallet top-ups are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by non-waivable law. Publications, renewals, boosts, game entries, licenses, meetings, and other Platform services are consumed upon use and are non-refundable. Dissatisfaction with a feature, with distribution results, or with another member's conduct does not create a refund right.
Promotional credit, including the first top-up match, is a discretionary marketing benefit. It is spendable on Platform services only, is never withdrawable and never transferable, may be revoked upon any suspicion of abuse, multiple accounting, collusion, or fraud, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. One promotional match per person, ever, regardless of the number of accounts used.
Published items renew at the disclosed yearly price, charged automatically from the wallet. If a renewal cannot be charged, distribution of the item is paused after the grace period; the item is not deleted and may be restored by paying the renewal price. Lapsed distribution creates no refund or damage claim.
Withdrawals require a minimum withdrawable balance of 500 US dollars, carry a 5 percent processing fee, and are paid only to a payment account in the Member's own verified name. Promotional credit is never withdrawable. Yesodi may require identity and source-of-funds verification, may delay any withdrawal pending review, and may refuse or reverse any withdrawal connected to suspected fraud, chargebacks, prohibited conduct, or legal process. Processing times are estimates, not commitments.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting Yesodi support constitutes a material breach. Upon any chargeback, dispute, use of a stolen or unauthorized payment instrument, or other fraud: (a) the account is suspended immediately; (b) the entire wallet balance, including earned amounts, is frozen and, upon confirmation of fraud or an upheld chargeback, FORFEITED to offset the losses of Yesodi; (c) an administrative fee of 25 US dollars per chargeback is assessed; (d) Yesodi may recover all associated costs, including processor penalties and collection and legal costs; (e) Yesodi will cooperate fully with card issuers, payment processors, and law enforcement, and will report criminal conduct to the competent authorities. Yesodi pursues fraud without exception.
Head-to-head trivia and chess are contests of skill with disclosed entry amounts, payouts, and a 20 percent platform commission. Entry amounts are committed when a player takes a turn and are not refundable once a match completes. Matches abandoned for seven days are voided and entries returned. Games are available only where contests of skill for consideration are lawful; the Member is solely responsible for legality in the Member's jurisdiction and must not participate where prohibited. Collusion, self-play across accounts, or manipulation results in forfeiture of entries and winnings and account termination.
Escrow and funding modes. A pledge immediately debits the backer's wallet (or is paid directly by an approved web payment method) and is held in escrow by the Platform until the campaign resolves. Each campaign is published in one of two funding modes, disclosed on the campaign page before pledging. All-or-nothing: if the campaign does not reach its funding goal by its deadline, every pledge is refunded in full to the backer's wallet automatically; refunds are issued as wallet credit, not to an external payment method. If the campaign reaches its goal, pledges become final and non-refundable. Flexible funding: the creator keeps whatever is raised at the deadline; pledges become final and non-refundable when the campaign closes, whether or not the goal was reached. In both modes, funds are released to the campaign creator after a hold of 3 days following the campaign's resolution. During the hold Yesodi may review the campaign and may cancel it and refund all backers upon suspicion of fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of these Terms. A campaign cancelled by its creator before resolution is refunded in full in either mode.
Fees. Publishing a Fundraiser event costs a one-time fee of 1 US dollar, which is non-refundable regardless of the campaign's outcome. On every amount released to a creator (a successful all-or-nothing campaign, or the closing balance of a flexible campaign), Yesodi retains a platform fee of 5 percent and releases the remainder to the creator; a creator therefore keeps 95 percent of released funds. Where a pledge was referred through the Platform's affiliate program, the disclosed affiliate share (10 percent) is paid out of the creator's portion, not in addition to the 5 percent platform fee. Where pledges are refunded (an all-or-nothing campaign that missed its goal, or a cancelled campaign), no platform fee is charged on those pledges.
Per-backer cap. Total pledges by a single backer to a single campaign are capped at 1,000 US dollars. Yesodi may reject or reverse pledges that exceed the cap, including attempts to circumvent it through multiple accounts.
Rewards, not investments. Rewards, perks, and tiers offered by a campaign are the sole obligation of the campaign creator; Yesodi does not guarantee that any reward will be delivered, is not a party to the arrangement between backer and creator, and a creator's failure to deliver creates no claim against Yesodi. Campaigns are strictly rewards- or donation-based. Backing a campaign is support for a creator's project, not an investment; pledges confer no ownership, equity, security, interest, profit share, or repayment right, and campaigns offering equity, securities, lending, or investment returns are prohibited and will be removed.
Chargebacks and platform. Chargebacks and payment disputes on pledges are governed by Section 6 without exception. Pledging is available on the web only; pledges are not offered or processed through mobile in-app purchase.
Commissions and fees on sales, tickets, licenses, transfers, and games are as disclosed at the time of the transaction and may change prospectively. Deliberately moving a transaction sourced through the Platform off the Platform to avoid fees is prohibited; Yesodi may charge the avoided fees and may suspend or terminate the account.
Members are solely responsible for all taxes on amounts earned or received through the Platform. Yesodi may withhold or report where required by law and may require tax documentation before releasing withdrawals.
Yesodi may correct any balance, credit, payout, or ledger entry made in error, including by debiting the wallet. Obvious pricing or crediting errors do not create entitlements.
Upon termination for breach, remaining promotional credit is void, and Yesodi may withhold withdrawable balances for up to 180 days pending chargeback exposure, investigation, and setoff of amounts owed. Voluntarily closed accounts in good standing may withdraw balances meeting the minimum under Section 5.
Yesodi may amend these Financial Terms at any time by posting the amended version; continued use of any financial feature constitutes acceptance.
