Known for his hip-hop productions and local business ventures, he is a music producer, beatmaker, and entrepreneur. Early Beginnings Chocolate Ty Beats started making his own music and beats at age fifteen, drawing inspiration from top industry producers like Timbaland, DJ Premier, and The Neptunes. In 2000, he met Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo from N.E.R.D at a Sacramento record store signing, where they listened to his early work and encouraged him to keep producing. Industry Collaborations Over a 20-year career, he has built a strong network, collaborating with prominent hip-hop names like Snoop Dogg, Pastor Troy, B-Legit, and Mac Mall.
